The successful candidate will have a strong executive presence, exhibit a deep understanding of the business, and facilitate cross-collaboration between finance, operations, and WFM teams to deliver accurate labor standards and labor impacts.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews with internal business partners to align on upcoming work, support discovery of new projects, and provide insights into WFM.
  • Support annual and quarterly refreshes of the retail labor budget with updated engineered labor standards.
  • Provide recommendations and insights on labor requirements to support key senior business partners, company strategies, and industry changes.
  • Engage with key business partners to understand changes in the business and potential impacts on labor.
  • Provide expert knowledge on workload implications in support of new initiatives led by business partners and senior leaders.
  • Manage incoming requests and timelines for regularly cadenced budget refreshes, ad hoc requests, business initiatives, projects, and team development.
  • Develop roadmap and strategy to build accurate workload to reflect the work required of our store colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the broader Workforce Management team to update labor budgets, demand, and scheduling to support business initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a team of Managers and Sr Analysts
Primary responsibilities
  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and validation of engineering labor standards required to identify workforce needs across retail.
  • Engage with business partners and senior leaders to ensure alignment of workload with operational needs, company strategies, and financial targets .
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on store workload implications to support strategic business and operational decisions .
  • c ollaborate with Workforce Management team on labor budgeting, demand shape, scheduling, and field engagement on workload changes .
  • Develop a high- performing team to support business relationships and technical expertise required to maintain engineered labor standards .
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of total business experience
  • 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives with a high degree of complexity
  • 8+ years influencing with and without authority.
  • 8+ years leveraging data to support strategic plans and return on investment.
  • 8+ years' experience working with a team to prioritize work based on skills, needs, timelines, etc.
  • 8+ years' experience building high-performing teams.
  • 8+ years' experience engaging and inspiring a team to reach optimal business outcomes together.
  • Familiarity with workforce management processes and extensive knowledge of retail business operations
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, based on business needs.

  • Proven ability to deliver results in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead planning initiatives with a track record of successfully executing on established goals and objectives .
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses, and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal direction.
  • Highly responsible and accountable for building strong business value.

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Broad mindset with an ability to consider the long-term execution of strategy as well as the short-term detail-oriented steps needed in developing solutions .

  • Advanced knowledge of workforce management processes and extensive knowledge of retail business operations
  • Knowledge of or certification in Lean Six Sigma practices a plus
  • F amiliarity with StandardsPro is a plus.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
