As an FP&A Senior Analyst, you will support the expense management within CVS Health's Shared Services (SS) Finance Organization. Reporting into the SS Finance FP&A Manager, you will be an integral member of the SS Finance team and will work cross-functionally with Finance leaders and other Finance teams to successfully manage, plan, and report on expenses.Primary responsibilities include:

- Performing month-end close procedures such as preparing and uploading journal entries and related support, conducing reconciliations, and addressing business partner questions and requests.
- Preparing accurate and timely reporting for multiple areas within SS Finance to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Executing updates to forecasts and budgets by collaborating with stakeholders to gather inputs, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations.
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including variance analyses, through research, evaluation of balances, identification of trends, and collaboration with business partners.
- Preparing and presenting commentary and key drivers for variances for various periods and scenarios.
- Partnering with cost center owners to ensure FTE rosters are accurately maintained to develop accurate reporting and facilitate FP&A budget and forecast updates.
- Assisting FP&A management with any ad-hoc requests.
- Coaching and providing guidance to other team members.
- 3 or more years of experience in an FP&A and/or Accounting role
- 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills
- Accounting background and/or work experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience with SAP ERP products, Anaplan, and/or Analytics for Excel
- Experience performing trend and variance analysis
- 1 or more years working closely with leadership/senior management
- Proactive and self-motivated to complete tasks independently within agreed upon timelines
- Flexible to changing team needs and receptive to process and system improvements
Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $102,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
