Position Summary

Our team is responsible for client reporting and internal program analytics for all care management products under the CVS Health Spire umbrella. We work with Product and Data Science teams to develop metrics for reports and dashboards. We also partner closely with several teams to develop the data feeds that drive impactful analytics. We are positioned to make a difference for the business and the customers.

**This role can be remote in the US and must align to an eastern time zone work schedule.

What you will do:
  • Build detail & summarized data structures within reporting & analytics data layer to support development of complex and comprehensive dashboards & reports
  • Work independently and collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, data visualization team, and subject matter experts to design backend database objects
  • Develop data pipelines from multiple platforms
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years overall as a Google Cloud Data Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics.
  • Experience in data modeling to transform and prepare data for reporting & analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of Google Cloud Data Engineering experience in health care - Care Management, PBM, Claims
  • 5+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus.
  • Prior experience in data warehouse & analytics area is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as communication, time management, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Must be comfortable working with remote teams and senior members of business units and product owners.
  • Prior experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and data privacy concerns is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. MS Degree in STEM field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
