The hourly rate is $23/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.
About this business area:
Aetna's Medicare Stars Data Intelligence team supports the entire Medicare organization by participating in the design, build, and management of large-scale data structures and pipelines and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows. The Data Intelligence team is focused on creating a framework for developing large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs focusing on complex business problems. We use advanced technology and tools, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes to enable data acquisition by leveraging big data within a cutting-edge environment.
The position supports Medicare Stars and their mission to provide data collection for all Medicare (assets/information) supporting Medicare Stars by embracing innovative capabilities to discover, extract and load information. Our core principles are to build trust and enable secure data sharing to improve the health of our members, customers and colleagues.

- Develop ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems and develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
- Document and create Architectural models for current state and future state for innovation projects
- Develop Ingress/Egress Process for publishing Strategic Data into our GCP Cloud Environment
- Cloud Migration - Participate in developing the strategic approach for migrating a component of our On-perm Architecture to Azure Cloud, potential for ADF development
- Cloud Migration - GCP Ingress/Egress project opportunity
- Data Migration - Develop new ETL for an existing legacy Data Pipe
Required Qualifications
- Able to relocate or commute to the Moon Township, PA office
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture including GCP and MS Azure
- Experience with MSSQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP, Visual Studio, and/or SQL
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#, Python, R studio
- Internship or work experience
- Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
- Knowledge of large-scale search applications and building high volume data pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
- Exposure to statistical analysis and problem solving through professional or academic experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Encourage teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness
- Be resourceful and can quickly and successfully adapt to change
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2025 and August 2026
- Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position such as Computer Science, Business information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering any other data-driven field
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.46
