Position Summary
The CVS Media Exchange (CMX) Media Strategy and Planning team is growing and seeking a digital media buyer/planner to develop media strategies, conduct research, build processes and deliver outcomes through execution of digital media programs for key verticals within CVS Media Exchange. The individual will work closely with sales and clients to ensure that CMX media strategies are insight-driven, data-informed, and aligned with client business objectives. This role will develop media plans and media campaign strategy documents and presentations, build and execute media campaigns in platform, attend client meetings to present digital media strategies and field strategy-related questions. The right candidate is passionate about digging into data to build high-performing digital media programs and uncover new opportunities to drive our client's business at CVS. You will work collaboratively across sales, account management, operations, and business intelligence teams to develop and apply best practices, share learnings, and ensure that CMX is viewed as a strategic partner to our clients. - Build robust, fully integrated digital media plans across platforms; aligned with campaign objectives and overall client strategy (across paid, owned, earned media).
- Develop strategies across performance channels, including onsite search/display, paid social (Meta, Pinterest), paid search (Google Ads), direct publishers, and programmatic media using a DSP like The Trade Desk, Google DV360 etc.
- Create digital media plans, maintain media budgets and forecasts for internal teams and clients and deliver against KPIs.
- Utilize audience data to impact media strategy (channel/partner allocation) suited to client objectives and media delivery targets.
- Accurately set-up campaign in our Order Management System, partnering with Ad Ops to ensure timely campaign launches
- Partner with Media Optimization team to continually optimize media strategy/planning. Adjust strategic media plans based on client budgets and performance metrics
- Partner with current vendors to drive process flow and efficiency within CMX
- Support team members on key accounts to ensure ultimate success and client satisfaction, driving repeat business.
- Participate in development of media planning processes, expectations, best practices, and innovation ensuring fully robust/ integrated media plans across platforms; aligned with overall client strategy (across paid, owned, earned media).
- 3+ years' experience in data-driven media planning and buying across programmatic display, Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest, paid search, CTV, video, programmatic audio, digital out-of-home
- Understanding of digital media analytics and experience working with DMPs/ DSPs/SSPs/Google Cloud Platform/Adobe Marketing Cloud/1st party data
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across all levels
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
- Demonstrated pro-active thinking with creative problem-solving skills in managing budgets and delivering campaign performance.
- Base understanding of media measurement inclusive of attributed sales and incrementality
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in business or marketing, OR equivalent work experience (High School Diploma and at least 4 years of equivalent experience).Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
