Position Summary: The Manager of Pharmacy Growth Solutions will be part of a cross-functional group focused on the development of new enterprise initiatives that can be integrated into current pharmacy business models. As a manager on this team, you will be a contributor in the development of company-wide strategic service offerings and new business opportunities. This includes finding and incubating opportunities to grow margin within our current patient care program suite of products as well as across teams such as Operations, Trade, and Health Plan products. You will be responsible for the opportunity identification, business case development and assessment, and testing/incubation for such products and product enhancements. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: The day-to-day for this role will vary, including aligning key stakeholders and leadership, driving market research to create and inform strategic priorities, performing opportunity assessment, designing & executing mini-tests and/or pilots, and working in a matrixed environment. You will be expected to translate ambiguous opportunities into strategic recommendations and functional programs that follow logical storyboarding principles that will be understood by peers and leadership. The ideal candidate will have an analytical and strategic mindset along with great communication skills. In addition, the individual should be comfortable interacting with and influencing more senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.   • Own and drive relationship with key internal stakeholder team(s) towards finding and ideating opportunities to collaborate on new solutions.
  • Capture key market research and competitor insights and be able to quickly synthesize and draw connections or implications to the work we do.
  • Evaluate opportunities across multiple dimensions and provide informed recommendation on next steps.
  • Influence leadership decision-making with clear and tailored communication (both verbal and written)
  • Execute on tactical steps within project plans with minimal support.
Solution Design & Incubation
  • Develop comprehensive, and action-oriented business cases to support the investment in prioritized solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally to design and build solutions that grow margin and enable strategic goals.
  • Partner with IT to develop requirements as needed for projects.
  • Develop and launch mini-tests or pilots to pressure-test assumptions and strengthen end product.
Solution Implementation & Operation
  • Work cross-functionally to implement solution, ensuring appropriate consideration for operationally, colleague, and patient experience.
  • On occasion, maintain ownership of launched program, including tracking and measurement of KPIs, troubleshooting of raised issues, and development and management of enhancements
  • When applicable, successfully transition ownership of developed solution or program to operational team.
Required Qualifications
  • Retail pharmacy, pharmacy product development, healthcare consulting, etc.
  • Building/assessing business cases and implementing mini-tests and/or pilots
  • Designing, assessing, and optimizing healthcare/pharmacy programs
  • CVS Health's retail pharmacy workflow, business, and organization processes
  • Managing complex relationships across a variety of business units and personality types
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Travel- up to 10%, based on needs of the business.

  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech

  • Deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal direction.
  • Manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Communicate clearly to small and large groups to lead complex projects to completion.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with leaders and colleagues' enterprise wide to solution, implement, and drive results.
  • Plan and execute short- and long-term goals.
  • Masters or Advanced Degree Preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
