Position Summary
The Lead Product Owner for the Growth Analytics team is a key role responsible for managing and optimizing data-driven products and solutions that enhance marketing performance and customer engagement. This role will work closely with cross functional teams including analytics, data engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure that data products align with business goals and deliver measurable value. The Lead Product Owner will define product vision, strategy, and roadmap while prioritizing features to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality cutting-edge data solutions and hitting user engagement and adoption targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision, strategy, and road map for data products that support the Growth Analytics team's objectives.
- Align data product strategies with overall business goals and marketing initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities for leveraging data to improve marketing effectiveness and customer insights.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and launch data driven products and features.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from ideation to sunset, ensuring continuous improvement and high user adoption and utilization.
- Act as the primary liaison between the marketing team and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and priorities.
- Work with marketing teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data product features.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure data products are meeting business needs.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products and track their performance to ensure they deliver the expected business value.
- Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions, validate hypotheses, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that data products are compliant with all relevant regulations and best practices for data privacy and security.
- Champion the use of data within the marketing team, promoting data driven decision making.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices for data product management.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Data Science, Business, or Computer Science).
- 5 - 7 years of experience in data science and product management, with a focus on data products, ideally within a marketing or digital environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, and strategies.
- Proven capability of working in complex data environments with large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Experience working with cross functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and influential leadership skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Data Science, Business, or Computer Science).
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPPA, CCPA) is a plus.
The typical pay range for this role is:
$142,140.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
