Manages day-to-day supervision of a shift, function, or small department across all shifts, which may include fulfillment, order entry, physician calls, prescription processing, reships and/or other areas. Directs workflow of team leads, pharmacy technicians, support, and administrative staff.

What you will do:

• Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the pharmacy operations area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.

• Executes daily activities and operational plans for the pharmacy operations area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.

• Manages day-to-day performance and results of pharmacy associates including quality, service, attendance, efficiency, and safety.

• Designs policies, protocols, and procedures for pharmacy staff to ensure proper handling and prompt responses to accidents.

• Certifies records of all pharmacy transactions to ensure adequate accountabilities for all drugs as required by state and federal laws.

• Implements innovative programs and enhancements to increase productivity.

• Devises and executes daily operations including attendance, performance management, and workflow.

• Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years work experience. Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations is to supervise and provide direction to the professional and non-professional staff to ensure that prescription orders are filled and shipped in an accurate and efficient manner to achieve exceptional customer service to exceed company and customer expectations. The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations is also responsible for directing daily workflow, interviewing/hiring, evaluating & reviewing performance, coaching & counseling, and daily supervision of the staff to ensure that all department and company policies and procedures are followed.Targeted compensation: Starting at $65,000 per year based on experience.The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations responsibilities Include but are not limited to:• Ensuring the production and quality goals are maintained daily.
• Manage the timely movement of staff within the pharmacy to ensure prescriptions are Processed, Packed, and Shipped efficiently.
• Assist with development and training of colleagues to ensure a high-performing team.
• Perform audits to ensure standards are met within the business organization as well as prioritize and monitor workflow, addressing related issues as appropriate to achieve pharmacy production objectives.
• Responsible for tracking and root cause analysis of efficiency and quality measures.
• Assist in development and implementation of strategies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction by establishing clear expectations, communicating specific performance feedback and giving timely and thorough performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the materials department and other areas of the business both internal and external to meet defined customer and client expectations

Required Qualifications
• Three years of pharmacy and/or warehouse experience.
• One year of supervisory experience in a related environment.

• Active Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to become licensed.

Preferred Qualifications
• Extreme accuracy and attention to detail and data standards.
• Ability to work in teams and coordinate work efforts.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to customer focus to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely information.

Education

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required, bachelor's degree preferred. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $93,574.80This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
