Overview:

The Network Analytics team helps our business units, our contracted healthcare providers, our clients, and our company (Aetna and Meritain Health) - meet individual objectives and compete in the dynamic commercial healthcare marketplace. The team provides enterprise wide and/or cross-functional data driven solutions to address business problems, while reporting our Provider Network position throughout the country. This work results in initiatives that significantly impact company strategy enabling Aetna/Meritain Health to be competitive in the marketplace and effectively serve its customers.

The Network Analytics and Strategy team develops and implements strategies that positively impact our operations and reporting, to ensure we meet membership needs. We partner with leaders across the organization to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives, to ensure profitable growth and improved organizational effectiveness. Our scope includes one or more of the following disciplines: Management consulting, business process/project consulting, strategic analysis, business planning, and, or risk management consulting.

The Business Consultant will be involved in new Network team projects, in addition to oversight of all Network Analytics team reporting builds. This role will support sales and client management, ensuring satisfaction for assigned initiatives that impact the delivery of products and services. Heavily collaborates with internal and external business partners as required in support of initiatives.

Functions as a leader for change and innovation. May be responsible for concurrent initiatives or act as project lead for complex projects based on resource requirements.

Among other things, the Business Consultant will be involved in Network template design/enhancements, new reporting, support for current DG/CTG reporting, maintenance and improvements around our market competitiveness reporting and presentations to internal partners and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

-At least three years of experience in large data mining and business reporting

-Experience in leading complex projects

-Elevated focus on detail, accuracy, and quality. Proactive self-motivated work ethic.

-Consistent high performer with ability to meet strict deadlines and key metrics.

- Ability to communicate and present to stakeholders in a professional and concise manner.

-Microsoft Office - Expert in Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in complex reporting creation in the healthcare industry

-Familiarity with "Value Based Contracting" vs "Fee For Service" models

-Familiar with multiple data mining software tools.

-Familiarity with coding languages (VBA, Python, etc).

Education:

-Bachelor's degree from four year college/university with focus in STEM related major (Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics)

-Master's degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
