DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Inside Sales Representative to join our team specializing in Sales for our Cummins Ghana Branch in Accra, Ghana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Convert Prospects into Sales: By handling inbound calls and converting them into sales, you'll directly contribute to revenue growth.
  • Develop New Sales Opportunities: Through cold-calling and lead generation, you'll create new opportunities to sell Cummins products and services.
  • Drive Repeat Business: Follow-up calls and emails to existing customers will help drive repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: By using the Cummins Sales Process, you'll ensure customer satisfaction from lead to sale.
  • Support Sales Representatives: You'll create and deliver qualified leads to sales representatives, assisting them with quotation and RFP management.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Maintaining positive customer relationships will generate loyalty and future sales.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Entering new customer data and updating existing accounts will ensure accurate sales entry, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Coordinate Across Departments: Good communication and coordination across the Sales function and other departments will support customer satisfaction and sales goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to provide data analysis reports on branch sales performance and develop pricing strategies by aligning with key stakeholders.
  • Effective Communication: Skill in explaining complex topics to various target audiences, ensuring they understand and can use the information.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Incorporate the customer's perspective to develop sales content that meets their needs and increases revenue.
  • Proficiency in Sales Forecasting: Collect and assess customer data to create accurate forecasts of future consumption patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience

  • Digital Marketing & Communication Management experience desirable.
  • Limited prior experience required.
  • Experience as a quote analyst or another sales support function desirable.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software desirable.
  • Experience with other software-based sales and business tools desirable.
  • Advanced certificates or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
