We are looking for a talented Territory Sales - Field Sales Account Executive - Senior to join our team specializing in Sales for our CUMMINS in Ciudad de México.
Job Summary:
Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develops/executes account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Define, Execute and give a follow up to pull marketing activities altogether with Cummins Distributors as customer visits, lunch & learns, Customer Support Plans and accountability to designed OEM's
- Accountable fo the bus segment within the scope of Mexico and Hispanic South America.
- Identifies, researches, and contacts potential customers to generate sales opportunities.
- Develops and executes account plans for key prospects, conducting sales visits.
- Builds and strengthens customer relationships to understand their needs and buying process.
- Presents Cummins solutions aligned with customer priorities, highlighting their value.
- Reports market and customer needs to leadership.
- Negotiates and manages payment terms, supporting collections and reducing overdue accounts when needed.
- Collaborates with customers and internal teams to resolve outstanding payments.
- Achieves sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Utilizes Cummins tools and processes (CRM, reports, forecasts) to manage sales and customer relationships.
- Provides leadership and mentorship to less experienced account executives.
- Works with internal teams to balance inventory, service, and delivery with customer expectations.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- At least 2 years experience in sales
- Experience using Salesforece or similar
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Experience managing sales forecasts, CRM tools, and reporting processes.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, particularly in collections and payment negotiations.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities to support less experienced team members.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Must be based in Mexico City.
