DESCRIPTION
Utilize financial analysis knowledge to lead the efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment. Ensure internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met from end-to-end in each of the supply chains. Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain. Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common supply chain processes, tools, and information systems. Utilize financial management knowledge to mitigate long-term supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders and create supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships. Utilize financial knowledge to understand and improve necessary Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators. Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans in order to address supply chain failures promptly and ensure operations stability. Prepare and manage annual operating plan including expense resources and capital. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality. Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting. Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards. Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions impacting the supply chain. Evaluate need for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations. Coordinate the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of the supply chain function. Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems. Design and implement supply chain that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost reduction strategies. Apply Six Sigma processes and tools to complete key engineering and Supply Chain projects and determine the root cause of complex supply chain issues as well as implications in order to solve complex problems within the Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Finance or related field and 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or Planner, Finance Analyst or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Finance or related field and 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or Planner, Finance Analyst or related position. Experience to include: Demand management and order fulfillment; Supply chain continuous improvement projects; Mitigate supplier constraints; Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators; Develop corrective action plans and ensure operations stability; Prepare annual operating plan; Define performance metrics for supply chain factors; Supply chain-based performance measurement systems; Determine the root cause of supply chain issues; Six Sigma processes and tools.
