DESCRIPTION
The Supply Chain Analyst uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. This role is responsible for analyzing performance, identifying challenges, and developing recommendations to improve the organization's supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support across one or more functional areas of the supply chain.
- Utilize common processes, tools, and information systems for supply chain analysis and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics and reports.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Participate in Six Sigma and supply chain improvement projects.
- Use business systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for capable and repeatable analytics and reporting.
- Support the organization in material planning and inventory optimization using advanced tools such as Advanced Planning Command Centre and BI Dashboards.

Skills and Knowledge
- Functional Skills :
- Material Planning and Supplier Procurement (Must have).
- Understanding of Material Availability/Shortage issues (Must have).
- Experience with Inventory Reduction and Safety Stocks (Preferred).
- Allocation Planning/Constraint Planning (Nice to have).
- Familiarity with Oracle/SAP systems (Nice to have).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in Material Planning, Procurement, or Production Planning.
- Exposure to managing 10-15 suppliers and 300+ parts.
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant's material planning (Nice to have).

- Inventory Management and Optimization : Using analytics to determine optimal inventory levels and develop strategies to align with company goals.
- Materials KPI Management : Assessing performance against targets to drive improvement and balance trade-offs across KPIs.
- Values Differences : Leveraging diverse perspectives to enhance organizational outcomes.

- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
