In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhance Data Accuracy : By obsoleting outdated part numbers and validating current pricing, you'll ensure the price files are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Develop Reporting Tools : Creating reporting mechanisms for Pricing KPIs will provide valuable insights and help track performance effectively.
  • Support Continuous Improvement : Your efforts in troubleshooting pricing issues will contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Account Representatives : Working with Account Representatives to investigate pricing opportunities will help streamline processes and improve pricing efficiency.
  • Facilitate Commercial Negotiations : Exploring ways to leverage the Pricing Team in commercial negotiations can lead to better pricing strategies and outcomes.
  • Drive Efficiency : By identifying and implementing improvements, you'll help the team operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to Strategic Decisions : Your analysis and reporting will support strategic decision-making, providing the team with the data needed to make informed choices.
  • Gain Valuable Experience : This role will offer you hands-on experience in pricing strategies and data management, preparing you for future career opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Current Enrollment : You must be a student at a college or university.
  • Relevant Academic Background : Ideally, you should be working toward an undergraduate degree in business administration, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office : Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, is essential for handling data and creating reports.
  • Data Analysis Skills : The ability to work with and analyze large data sets will be crucial for validating pricing and developing reporting mechanisms.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for collaborating with the Pricing Manager, Pricing Analysts, and Account Representatives.
  • Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail will help ensure the accuracy of price files and the identification of obsolete part numbers.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities : Being able to troubleshoot pricing issues and identify opportunities for improvement will contribute to the team's success.
  • Adaptability : Flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges and tasks will help you thrive in this dynamic role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Preferably a student at a college/university in their Junior or Senior year
  • Previous experience in Sales or as an intern is a plus
