Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Risk Analyst to join our team specializing in Finance for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Partner with captive administrator, actuaries, and consultants to provide technical analysis and support on financial transactions and claim-related matters for the captive and risk management team.
  • Provide analytic support on domestic and international insurance programs, including Property, Marine, General Liability, Professional liability, Crime, Auto, Products liability, and Employers Liability.
  • Prepare complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports.
  • Coordinate captive financial aspects, including monthly and year-end financial reports, investment, tax, and captive service level agreement.
  • Monitor renewal progress and premium cessions by lines with Global Risk Managers.
  • Perform cash management, including approval of payments.
  • Coordinate collection and review of data by line of coverage in support of actuarial loss studies for policy renewals and budget determination.
  • Participate in regular claim review and analysis, including monthly captive insurance company reporting, quarterly large claim review with the Claims team and third-party claims administrator.
  • Provide analysis and oversight of various large property and casualty claims; perform claim trend analysis and monitoring.
  • Prepare and facilitate captive meetings, including the annual Board of Director meeting in Vermont, quarterly Advisory Committee meetings, and quarterly finance reviews.
  • Manage financial transactions of acquired group captive insurance programs and run-off insurance programs; manage internal communications, tracks/monitors third-party captive administrator.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • College, university, or equivalent degree required in Finance, Accounting, Treasury or Insurance related field.
Experience:
  • Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Additional Information:
  • Analytic support on domestic and international captive programs and coordination of renewals.
  • Lead actuarial process with appropriate data collection and consolidation of information.
  • Responsible for captive financial aspects.
  • Support on annual budget process and Service Level Agreement cross charges.
  • Regular claim review and analysis.
  • Manage and facilitate various captive meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and captive vendors.
  • Support large projects with risk management efforts and initiatives.
  • Manage summer intern process and arrangement.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

$86,400.00 - 129,600.00
