DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Project Manager - Talent Acquisition to join our team specializing in Talent Acquisition for Cummins, Inc. in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Project Leadership : Leading multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitating project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; establishing project performance goals; designing project plans, developing the timeline, identifying project milestones, and tracking performance against performance goals and timeline.
- Issue Resolution : Your ability to identify, track, and resolve project issues will keep projects on track and minimize disruptions.
- Status Communication : Regularly updating the project team on status will keep everyone informed and aligned, fostering better collaboration.
- Budget Management : Planning and monitoring project budgets, along with conducting research and analysis, will ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
- Risk Management : Using quality tools to identify and manage risks will help mitigate potential problems and keep projects on course.
- Knowledge Sharing : Documenting and sharing learnings with other teams will enhance overall project success and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Record Maintenance : Keeping detailed project notes, databases, and records will provide a clear history of project progress and decisions, aiding transparency and accountability.
- Team Guidance : By assigning resources, guiding, and coaching team members, you'll help them grow and ensure that project tasks are completed effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Human Resources Consulting - Your ability to collaborate with partners and apply sound judgment will be crucial. By diagnosing and optimizing opportunities, you'll provide holistic solutions that balance the needs of employees and the organization, fostering a positive work environment.
- Data Analytics - Mastering the discovery, interpretation, and communication of both qualitative and quantitative data will be essential. You'll need to draw meaningful insights from data using statistics, data validity, and visualization techniques. Presenting these insights effectively will enable data-driven business decisions.
- Project Issue and Risk Management - Successfully managing the identification, assessment, and prioritization of issues and risks will be key. By driving actions to minimize and control risks, you'll ensure that projects achieve the most positive outcomes possible.
- Project Scope Management - Managing project deliverables effectively will be critical. Using recommended project management tools and processes, you'll ensure that projects include all necessary work and avoid unnecessary tasks, leading to successful project completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Have a deep knowledge and understanding of Hourly Talent Acquisition processes and strategies.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team.
- Knowledge and utilization of quality measures and tools including 6S and data analytics.

Compensation
