DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented People Support Specialist - Senior - Employee & Labor Relations (Mainland Europe) to join our People Support Specialist Team, located in Chassieu, France and supporting the entire Mainland Europe region.
This role requires up to 25% travel across the Mainland Europe region. The role is categorized as on-site.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhancing Pay Negotiations: Compilation and collation of data in support of the creation and presentation of negotiation packs, you'll ensure site readiness and contribute to successful pay negotiations.
- Streamlining Collective Bargaining: Your work in creating, reviewing, and retaining documents will support smooth collective bargaining processes and stakeholder collaboration.
- Optimizing SharePoint Content: Building and administering SharePoint content for Mainland Europe and the UK to establish improved information accessibility and collaboration within the regional Labour Relations Team and HR partners.
- Driving Strategic Goals: Collaborating and driving forward the 'Traffic Light' strategy with the HR pillars will help achieve strategic goals for the region whilst ensuring effective tracking and maintenance of status indicators.
- Supporting Specialist Projects: Your involvement in ad-hoc projects like policy rollouts, exceptional agreement preparation and M&A readiness will provide critical support for various strategic initiatives.
- Fostering Works Council Relationships: By tracking engagement and coordinating introductory meetings, you'll strengthen partnerships with Works Councils and ensure effective communication.
- Coordinating Regional Forum Activities: Organizing meetings, building agendas, and partnering with the regional Labour Relations Team will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of applicable regional forums.
- Implementing Best Practices: Supporting the dissemination and implementation of labour and employee relations best practices will drive continuous improvement across Mainland Europe sites.
- Integral Support for Labour Relations Practices: Covering the coordination of training needs, data reporting and analytics and specific surge case support where required across Mainland Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Stakeholder Management Skills: The ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Labor Relations Expertise: Experience in practicing employee relations at sites with third-party representation, applying labor law knowledge, and negotiating, interpreting, and implementing collectively bargained agreements.
- Conflict Resolution and Collective Bargaining: While experience with collective bargaining and conflict resolution scenarios is preferable, it is not essential. These skills will help you navigate complex situations and achieve positive outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- A bachelor's or post-grad degree in Labor or Employee Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field is required.
- Relevant Experience and Knowledge: An intermediate level of working experience and knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience. A strong understanding of employment laws is essential, preferably across multiple Europe-region countries.
- English language fluency essential + additional second language capability desirable (as well as native tongue).
