DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Operations Leader to join our team specializing in Logistics in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive Operational Excellence : Lead and improve warehouse operations, including transportation and packaging, to enhance safety, quality, production, and cost efficiency.
- Foster Effective Communication : Act as a key communicator with customers, suppliers, shop floor staff, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and strong relationships.
- Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop and manage the annual operating plan, forecasts, and key performance measurements for the Parts Distribution Center.
- Enhance Supply Chain Capability : Manage and develop the supply chain team, setting goals for training, development, performance, and career planning.
- Champion Cummins Values : Promote diversity, community involvement, and environmental initiatives, ensuring these values are reflected in daily operations.
- Lead Continuous Improvement : Implement continuous improvement projects aligned with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence, leveraging common processes and tools.
- Support Corporate Initiatives : Lead cross Business Unit planning processes to ensure alignment with corporate supply chain initiatives and create standardized procedures.
- Problem Solving and KPI Management : Analyze operational trends, develop corrective action plans, and address supply chain failures promptly to maintain operational stability and achieve performance targets.

- Leverage Supply Chain Knowledge : Explain and integrate the flow of information, products, and services to achieve desired results while balancing inventory, cost, and delivery.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related subject required.
- MBA preferred.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Moderate level of relevant work experience required.
