DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Operations Excellence Specialist - Senior to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins' business in Oshkosh, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operations Excellence: Apply your knowledge of Operations Excellence principles and practices to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize continuous improvement tools and lead the development of manufacturing standards and working methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead communications with key stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members, maintaining relationships and coaching them to achieve goals.
- Plant Maturity Goals: Coordinate the creation of plant maturity goals in collaboration with business leaders, functional leaders, and end-to-end process owners.
- Strategy Execution: Execute the Corporate Operations Excellence Strategy and roadmap to achieve plant maturity goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coaching and Mentorship: Coach business leaders and functional leaders to identify real issues and opportunities, develop prioritized improvement initiatives, and guide them through successful implementation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead projects in a cross-functional environment, providing solutions to complex manufacturing issues and contributing to measurable improvements.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead and participate in knowledge sharing to develop plant subject-matter expertise, championing continuous and step-change improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- College, university or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including manufacturing or manufacturing plant experience, team leadership experience, preferred.
- OP Ex.
