OEM Aftermarket Account Manager

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented OEM Aftermarket Account Manager to join our team specializing in Sales for Cummins in Dordrecht, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands and Rumst, Belgium.

The role requires 40% work in the office and 60% remote, and it involves 20% travel.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned regional or single-business-unit customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and business growth.
  • Sell the organization's products and services to assigned business customers, aiming to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with the overall business strategy to drive customer engagement and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships by offering tailored aftermarket solutions and additional products or services.
  • Work closely with wholegoods, service, and parts support teams to deliver seamless customer service and support.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform business decisions and sales strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities, upsell/cross-sell products, and drive revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, with fluency in English.
  • Experience in aftermarket sales, account management, or business development within off-highway, agriculture, or on-highway sectors.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, pricing strategies, and supply agreements with key accounts to drive sales growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, along with proficiency in Excel for data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, heavy machinery components, or aftermarket parts, with the ability to provide technical consultation and tailored solutions.
  • High willingness to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • Experience working with international accounts in the EMEA region.
  • Knowledge of aftermarket distribution networks, dealer networks, and service centers.
  • Background in engineering, mechanical, or automotive technology is a plus.
