DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Coordination and Leadership : Act as a key resource, coordinating various teams and operations, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication with operations management.
  • Operational Efficiency : Manage activities across different areas like Inbound, Outbound, and Kitting, optimizing processes based on directives from operations management.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advocacy : Promote a safe working environment by reporting hazards, complying with HSE standards, and leading HSE training sessions.
  • Quality Assurance : Ensure high-quality standards by following established procedures, performing quality checks, and addressing non-conforming materials to minimize costs and quality issues.
  • Effective Delivery Management : Oversee the receipt, sorting, labeling, and storage of goods, and operate equipment to meet customer expectations and optimize warehouse space.
  • Skill Proficiency : Demonstrate high competency in core work skills, maintaining required cycle times and engineering standards.
  • Team Collaboration : Foster effective communication within your team and with support teams, ensuring training completion and seeking continuous improvement in processes and safety.
  • Workplace Maintenance : Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, and support equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Utilize Warehouse Tools : Use warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations. This will help in optimizing warehouse space and improving operational efficiency.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third-party logistics provider management.
