DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for application software solutions. Collaborates with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Analysis and Evaluation : Analyze and evaluate application functionality, providing recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
- Configuration and Verification : Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configure and verify application setup and configuration.
- Emerging Trends and Recommendations : Develop expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provide functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
- Solution Analysis and Recommendations : Conduct analysis of potential application solutions, identify and recommend solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.
- Vendor Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors; work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
- Collaboration and Documentation : Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture, and technical requirements and define application functional designs.
- Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support as needed.
- Functional Specifications Management : Create and manage functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.

- Solution Modeling : Creates, designs, and formulates models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Solution Validation Testing : Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 10+ years of professional experience (preferably with a manufacturing company) in IT.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
- Advanced experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and solution designing.
- Hands-on experience in any manufacturing system such as Apriso MES, Ignition, etc.
- Good understanding of Industry 4.0 and has worked on technologies like IIoT, advanced robotics, Computer vision, and analytics.
- Good communication skills to manage global and local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in task management, issue tracking, and communication.
- Ability to manage expectations, meet deadlines, and handle multiple engagements.
