DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Risk Support Practitioner to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Dallas, TX location.

Job Summary:

Provide hands-on support to sites across the region to achieve health, safety, environmental, and sustainability objectives. Leads best practice sharing. Contributes to standardized solutions for common problems to improve health, safety, environmental, and sustainability risk reduction and proficiency across the region to support and maintain the global strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Hands-On Support: Be proactive in providing hands-on assistance to regional sites for implementing health, safety, and environmental programs. This will help achieve regional objectives and targets effectively.
  • Collaboration: Represent the region in global team collaborations to drive continuous improvement. Your ability to work well with others and contribute to program, policy, and procedure development will be crucial.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Guide sites in implementing hazard and risk controls through developing procedures, engineering controls, and awareness programs. Additionally, mentor local site resources to foster growth and professional development.
  • Problem-Solving: Address non-routine and common health, safety, environment, and sustainability issues across the region. Focus on driving standardization and implementing best practices.
  • Audit Leadership: Lead or participate in regional audits, ensuring sites are prepared and conform to standards. Provide support before and after audits to maintain compliance.
  • Incident Investigation: Offer hands-on support for investigating severe incidents, ensuring accurate reporting and meeting obligations. Your involvement will help prevent future occurrences.
  • Supplier and Consultant Management: Oversee the management and evaluation of regional suppliers and consultants, ensuring they meet health, safety, environment, and sustainability standards.
  • Effective Communication: Execute communication objectives to align with the global strategy. Clear and effective communication will be essential in achieving these goals.
  • Travel Management: Manage all aspects of travel, ensuring you can provide support and oversight to various sites within the region.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree or university equivalent required. Health and Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred.

Experience:

Significant relevant HSE experience required. 5-7 years of experience. Previous experience working across various counties within the region preferred. Progress toward professional certification, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in data analytics and Microsoft applications.

Preferred to be located in the Dallas metro area.

This assignment has approximately 10 locations with a 40-50% travel expectation.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
