We are looking for a talented General Manager to join our team specializing in General Management for our Yakima & Pasco, Washington locations.
Job Summary:
Manages the day-to-day operations at a defined location; responsible for all functions and financial metrics in a group of branches in a specific business segment or small geography.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Branch Management: You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple branches through Branch Managers, ensuring that all operational functions and financial metrics are achieved.
- Annual Operating Plan: You'll develop the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers and manage the business according to this plan. This includes monitoring balanced scorecards, profit and loss metrics, and asset metrics.
- Market Analysis: You'll conduct market analysis within your span of responsibilities to identify opportunities for growth. This involves managing the annual marketing and sales plan to drive business expansion.
- Customer Relationships: You'll build and maintain strong relationships with customers, develop new business partners, and form alliances to support the business segment or geographic area.
- Business Understanding: You'll gain a deep understanding of Cummins' business operations in your region, as well as globally and across all business units, to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Customer Satisfaction: You'll manage customer satisfaction through programs like Net Promoter Score and Lens of the Customer, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service. This includes recruiting, developing, and retaining high-quality customer service employees.
- Warranty Management: You'll oversee the warranty submission and rejection process, understand repetitive warranty issues, and provide feedback for product and service improvements. You'll also monitor and improve Repair Event Cycle Time within the branches.
- Compliance and Corporate Responsibility : You'll ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, oversee related audits, and promote a culture of corporate responsibility that benefits employees and the communities where Cummins operates.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in required Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.

Additional responsibilities:
The General Manager position will oversee Service & Parts operations in the Yakima & Pasco Washington locations. In addition to having a strong background in operations, the successful candidate will also be expected to have experience in direct sales with customers and the ability to build strong customer relationships. Travel is required, as the GM will be expected to be in each location weekly. A Six Sigma Green belt certification is not required for this role. This is not a Hybrid role. Candidate will be required to work from the Yakima or Pasco Office.

Resolving internal staff conflicts efficiently

Providing ongoing feedback to employees, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews
Customer Satisfaction
Ensuring positive customer service, responding to complaints, and taking action to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests

Ensuring that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, customers, and company assets
