We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst Senior to join our team specializing in Finance in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Prepare Complex Financial Analyses : By preparing detailed financial analyses and reports for department management, you'll provide critical insights that inform decision-making.
- Conduct Special Studies : Preparing analyses, reports, and special studies for management will help address specific business challenges and opportunities, driving strategic initiatives.
- Develop Budgets and Forecasts : Partnering with organizational units to develop annual budgets, expense, and staffing forecasts will ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
- Consolidate Financial Data : Preparing and consolidating financial data for statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis, will provide a comprehensive view of the organization's financial health.
- Coach Financial Analysts : Leading and coaching less-experienced Financial Analysts will help build a strong, capable team, enhancing overall financial analysis capabilities.
- Support Budget Processes : Supporting the annual budget process, including expense and staffing forecasts and statistical reporting, will ensure that the organization is well-prepared for future financial needs.
- Provide Interpretive Analyses : Preparing complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports will help management understand the implications of financial data and make informed decisions.
- Enhance Financial Reporting : Your work in preparing detailed financial reports and analyses will improve the accuracy and reliability of financial information, supporting better business outcomes.

- Financial Reporting : Analyze financial data to support business decisions. Prepare and present financial information in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations, driving financial performance.
- US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) : Evaluate US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies. Communicate the implications to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attack new opportunities and challenges with high energy, urgency and enthusiasm
- Develop improvements through simplifying complex processes
- Periodically propose ad-hoc analyses that are relevant to the specific IT team or work being completed
- Analyze actual results for trends and gaps and provide ongoing input & feedback.
- Financial support to specific IT groups that include Actuals, AOP, Simulation, and Forecast.
- Support IT's transition to the Product Platform model.
Additional Qualifications:
- Prior Planning, Forecasting, & Reporting experience required.
- Strong Business Partnering skills required
