Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior Business and HR leaders to develop and deliver DEI strategies, initiatives, and tactics aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing a diverse workforce.
- Evolve culture strategy that builds upon our strong foundation of Cummins vision, mission, core values and leadership behaviors to meet the challenges of Destination Zero through energy transition.
- Utilize key metrics and data insights to achieve DE&I aspirational goals and inclusive environment for everyone, leading DEI initiatives focused on these objectives.
- Lead, sponsor, and participate in DE&I programs and projects; design and develop new initiatives ensuring alignment with global diversity strategies, business objectives, and local cultural contexts.
- Provide leadership and coaching for existing Employee Resource Groups, guiding their maturation and aligning work objectives with business needs.
- Offer guidance and advice to the startup of new Employee Resource Groups, addressing inclusion needs and unique challenges/opportunities faced by diverse employees.
- Maintain high awareness of DE&I topics and social trends; educate, coach, and mentor team members, HR, and business units on DE&I issues.
- Lead, sponsor, and participate on global, cross-organizational projects to design, improve, and implement DE&I programs and initiatives that meet business goals, ensuring effective delivery.
- Manage financial and operational planning for regional DE&I key initiatives, including optimizing DEI budgeting and expenditure processes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- A college or university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
- DE&I certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Chinese is mandatory due to frequent interaction with local stakeholders internally and externally.
