DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team business team.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Processes invoice administration and set up for payment.
  • Prepares and processes accounts payable checks, wire transfers and payments.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries and reconciles more complex vendor statements.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts. Resolves more complex invoice discrepancies.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors and suggests process improvements.
  • Supports month end closing. Participates in and/or leads projects related to Accounts Payable improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience with vendors
  • Excellent computers skills --Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Skills :

• Collaboration with business unit to achieve common objective.

• Excellent excel skills with data analysis and interpretation.

• Should have end to end process knowledge with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong process knowledge to identify, analyze process gaps and drive standardization/simplification of AP process.

• Hands-on experience with vendor partners

Compensation and Benefits :

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
