This position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the site's spare parts program and MRO systems, ensuring technical and analytical excellence. This role will involve managing vendor relationships, analyzing spare parts inventory, and ensuring the availability of critical parts to support efficient operations. The MRO Specialist will work closely with internal teams to streamline processes, improve spare parts management, and drive cost-effective solutions
1. Assist in managing the technical and analytical oversight of the site's spare parts program and MRO system, focusing on improving processes and ensuring operational efficiency and provide regular updates on spare parts management, including customer feedback and performance analysis.

2. Support the tracking and documentation of financial costs and KPIs (such as cycle count accuracy, inventory turns, stock-outs, and inventory value) related to the storeroom spare parts vendor.
3. Assist in reviewing and processing change requests for new or modified Material Master Data ensuring materials requested through material request forms are not duplicates of those already available in SAP
4. Act as a point of contact between the storeroom vendor and site departments to facilitate spare parts requests
5. Work with the Engineering SME to evaluate which spare parts to maintain in inventory based on the spare parts holding strategy provided by the vendor
6. Support spare parts management partner in performing crib crawls and inventory accuracy counts, focusing on part description standardization and eliminating duplicates in the system
7. Investigate and resolve issues related to spare parts availability, aiming to improve inventory accuracy and reduce downtime.
8. Analyze spare parts usage data to assist in creating solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of spare parts management.
9. Track spare parts consumption and work with vendors to ensure timely replenishment to meet operational needs
10. Assist in managing processes for handling parts obsolescence by updating and cleaning up data for non-critical spares, obsolete components, and long-lead time items
11. Serve as a key contact for post-project support, working alongside internal teams to address customer needs and value stream requirements
12. Completes any other duties/responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a relevant field with significant experience in MRO or inventory management may be considered.
• Certification in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, ISM CPSM) is a plus.
Experiences:
• Good understanding and demonstrated spare parts inventory management in a computerized system. Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively with partners, staff, and users at all levels.
• Ability to provide study reports, technical documentation, and/or strategic plans for senior leadership and technical staff members.
• 31Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Audit and Investigation Skills, Report Writing Skills.
• Strong verbal, technical writing, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of the FDA and cGMP standards and regulatory guidance documents.
• Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
