Could you be our next Senior Manager, Global Leave Policies? This is a hybrid role located in our King of Prussia PA, Holly Springs NC, Summit NJ, Maidenhead or Liverpool UK, or Melbourne Australia office. You will report to the Associate Director of EMEA Benefits.

You will oversee the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive suite of leave programs, including paid time off (PTO), sick leave, parental leave, bereavement leave, and other country-specific statutory leave entitlements. You will collaborate with HR, legal, and business leaders across the organization to ensure compliance with global regulations and best practices, while optimizing the employee experience and supporting the strategic goals of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Global Leave Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement the global leave strategy, ensuring understanding of organizational goals, compliance with local labor laws, and consistency in policy application across all regions.
2. Policy Development: Lead the creation, review, and periodic update of leave policies to ensure they remain compliant, and reflective of changing global norms and employee needs.
3. Leave Program Administration: Oversee the daily management of global leave programs, including PTO, parental leave, sick leave, long-term disability, and other statutory leave types. Ensure systems for tracking, reporting, and managing employee leave across regions.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Stay informed about legislative changes that affect employee leave entitlements. Ensure policies are compliant with applicable labor laws, including paid and unpaid leave requirements.
5. Partner Collaboration: Partner with HR, legal, and business leaders to align leave and policy practices with our needs. Be a primary contact for leave-related inquiries and escalations.
6. Employee Experience: Advocate for a positive employee experience by promoting transparency, accessibility, and clarity around leave policies. Provide guidance to employees navigating complex leave situations.
7. Data Analysis: Lead the tracking and analysis of leave use trends, identifying opportunities for improvement or optimization in leave processes.
8. Vendor & Systems Management: Manage external vendors, benefits platforms, and HRIS systems related to leave administration. Increase processes for efficiency, user experience, and compliance.
9. Training & Communication: Develop and deliver training programs for HR and managers on leave policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in global leave management, policy development, or related fields.
- Knowledge of global leave regulations and compliance requirements across different regions (e.g., North America, Europe, APAC).
- Analytical experience developing solutions to complex leave issues.
