The QC Specialist within Analytical Services, you will be reporting to the Head of Global Analytical Services, QC. You will work onsite at our CSL Seqirus in Holly Springs, NC location Monday-Friday during primary business hours. Responsibilities
- Reagent Calibrations and Reference Standards: Ensuring that all reagents and reference standards are properly calibrated and maintained. This involves regular checks, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
- QC Logistics: Managing the logistics related to quality control, including the coordination of material collection, transportation, and storage. This also involves working closely with teams to ensure timely and accurate testing.
- External Partners: Collaborating with external partners, such as suppliers and contract laboratories, to ensure that all quality control processes are aligned and meet the required standards. This includes managing contracts, overseeing external audits, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Effective Communication: Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies. This involves clear and concise reporting, regular updates, and effective problem-solving.
- Managing Complex and Time-Sensitive Processes: Overseeing complex processes that are often time-sensitive. This requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fast-Paced and Dynamic Environment: Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. This involves being adaptable, proactive, and able to handle unexpected challenges with ease.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.)
- 5+ years' lab experience
