The Opportunity

We are looking for an afternoon shift Production Coordinator to join our growing team.Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Area Manager, Filling and based at our Broadmeadows Facility, you will co-ordinate activities within a production team to manufacture a range of therapeutic products and oversee the operations of the relevant manufacturing area. You will manage daily commercial operations and provide support to technology transfer projects as required.

The Role

• Co-ordinate process development and innovation within the manufacturing plant.
• Support the relevant manufacturing area during technology transfer, capacity upgrades, process development, process optimisation and process standardisation.
• Ensure staff under your supervision is appropriately trained to conduct their duties in a GMP compliant manner.
• Co-ordinate routine validation and maintenance activities within the Department.
• Build and maintain strong lateral relationships with internal stakeholders to secure support to meet the department's business needs and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, process and yield improvements for products manufactured within the department.

• Tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience.
• Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line management.
• Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems.
• Demonstrated SME in a relevant pharmaceutical field.
• Extensive knowledge of cGMP.
• Strong understanding of quality systems including handling of process deviations, change controls and quality records.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
