Finance Manager, Segment Reporting

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, E2E Budgeting & Reporting, as the Finance Manager, Segment Reporting, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall Segment result. You will be responsible for various financial analysis and reporting tasks, including assisting with monthly close, periodic forecasts, and inventory forecasting processes. You will have strong analytical skills, experience with SAP system data, and the ability to analyze and question sales reporting trends and discrepancies. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid

The Role:

• Support Group Finance Team: Provide assistance with any queries from the Group Finance team, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Support Behring GM and Decision Support Lead: Address queries and provide support to the Behring GM and Decision Support lead as needed.
• Monthly Close Assistance: Assist in the monthly close process by preparing slides, researching variances, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and soliciting quality commentary.
• Quarterly Forecasts: Support the preparation of quarterly forecasts by preparing slides, researching variances, validating accuracy, and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• SAP System Data Analysis: Drill into SAP system data to identify discrepancies, perform forensic accounting, and ensure accuracy of reported results.
• Sales Reporting: Learn and utilize CIS sales reporting software to help spot trends and provide actionable insights.
• Inventory Forecasting: Lead the inventory forecasting process for each forecast and budget cycle, ensuring accurate and timely projections.
• Gross Margin Support: Support gross margin analysis at the product level and assist with related queries.
• Ad Hoc Queries: Provide support for frequent various ad hoc queries and projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree in related field desirable. Professional certification (CPA/CMA) desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role. Experience in BI and AI tools, SAP, cost accounting, and global scientific/ pharmaceutical industry desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, ability to influence, ability to execute globally integrated processes, strong analytical thinking, timely decision making and priority setting, and organizational agility.
• The position also requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally globally.
