Position Overview, Duties And Responsibilities:
As Corporate Human Resources Coordinator at Crown, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our Human Resources Department by providing comprehensive assistance across various HR functions. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, manage crucial operations, and contribute to the overall well-being and engagement of our employees.
Key responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
- Administrative Processes / HR Operations:
- Provide support and back-upfor administrative processes for all employees, including change notices, requisitions, address changes, and name changes.
- Conduct onboarding for all hires in Corporate office
- Support annual Employee Performance Review process by monitoring completion of annual performance reviews for salaried employees
- Assist in organizing and coordinating training events at corporate headquarters and plant locations.
- Manage internal employee communications, including company announcements, surveys, and alerts.
- Oversee employee recognition programs, including anniversary awards.,
- Update titles, departments, managers, plant locations and unique ID numbers for all salaried employees in the directory manager tool monthly
- Complete verifications of employment for all salaried employees in North America.
- Maintain daily attendance records for Human Resources department.
- Maintain online employee files for United States based employees in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to department including processing of purchase orders and payment of vendor invoices.
- Set up new field Human Resources Managers with access to systems such as Sterling, Quest, Deltek, E-verify and UNUM (FMLA). Make changes as needed.
- Create spreadsheets and collaborate with compensation team on uploading reports for annual EEO-1 reporting.
- Web-site and Intranet Management:
- Manage and update the HR Management web page which contains a library of documents used by all North American Human Resource Managers
- Manage and update the Crown HR intranet site which is a self-service platform used by North American employees.
- Employee Relations:
- Primary point of contact for corporate employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures. Address employee concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
- Report Generation:
- As a Crown AS/400 Super User, the Human Resources Coordinator will generate queries, data requests and run reports as needed. This position will provide back-up and support to Supervisor – Human Resources Administration
- Compile data for monthly staffing reports and distribute throughout the Company as required.
- Talent Acquisition Support
- Support Talent Acquisition Team with coordination of recruiting including initial sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating background checks.
- Assist in campus recruiting initiatives for both full-time and internship roles. This includes coordinating events and attending as needed.
- Employee Wellness:
- Plan and execute wellness programs for corporate headquarters employees.
- Collaborate with Ramp Health on planning and data requirements for plant-based health fairs.
- HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Participate in special HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, or addressing specific organizational needs. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Work in collaboration with outside vendor to conduct periodic motor vehicle background checks for all drivers of company vehicles.
Qualifications:
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources administration, preferably within a global or multinational manufacturing corporation.

- Experience in HRIS software (e.g., AS400, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday etc.)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with specialized HR tools and systems such as Cornerstone, Glint, Sterling, Quest, Deltek, and E-verify is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas / policies clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal communication.,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity. Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and employee interactions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, business needs, and organizational structures, while maintaining composure and resilience in the face of challenges and ambiguity.

Travel
- Domestic travel requirements approximately 10%

This is an office-based position, and individuals are expected to be in the office daily. Crown offers a flexible work hour schedule.
