Primary Function

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining employee records up to date and based on legal regulations, providing exceptional customer service to employees, assisting with onboarding and orientation, processing benefit requests, and managing internal communications.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and accessible.
  • Assist employees with their needs, including paperwork, answering questions, and providing information on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Process exclusive transportation requests for employees, ensuring timely and efficient arrangements.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date information on the HR service page, including policies, new or changes in benefits, and other relevant updates.
  • Prepare and create internal communications, including announcements, such as new hires, promotions, anniversaries, CRS activities, team member engagement events, and business units request posts for various communication channels, to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Share information about new and updated benefits, and wellbeing activities through various communication channels.
  • Identify any opportunities and/or gaps in current HR processes and works with the Human Resources Manager to recommend changes as appropriate.
  • Assist team member activities, such social responsibility events, training programs or team member celebrations to engage employees and contribute to company culture.
  • Works with the HR Manager to support all new benefits delivery efforts. Assists in implementation of new benefit programs and administrative processes.
  • Assist with various HR projects initiatives, and other duties as needed.

Education and Experience.

  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred
  • 1 years' experience in Human Resources area or equivalent related experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to work independently on projects with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of the role, ensuring confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to interface with all levels of employees.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and internal and external partners.
