Office Locations: Oakville, ON OR Concord, ON

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to partner with hiring managers, providing customized recruitment strategies to attract and secure top talent for a range of high-volume positions, including DZ drivers, loader operators, skilled trades, customer service representatives, and technical service field roles. You will be responsible for recruiting seasonal, contract and salaried positions, all while ensuring a positive and seamless experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.

What you will do:
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment activities, from intake to offer extension, for a range of high-volume seasonal, contract & professional roles.
  • Support in-person interviews and seasonal open houses at plant level for locations across the GTAA, Niagara, Oxford, Waterloo, & Durham regions.
  • Build consultative partnerships with hiring managers and HR teams to understand and align with hiring needs.
  • Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Review and update job descriptions and job postings.
  • Maintain open and real-time communication, ensuring excellent candidate and manager experience throughout the process.
  • Maximize sourcing channels via job boards, professional associations, university/colleges, outreach organizations & social media.
  • Identify talent supply gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to bridge gap.
  • Utilize market research to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Track and share productivity and performance metrics using Excel.
  • Participate in, collaborate on, and support HR-related projects.
  • Act as a company ambassador, providing feedback and assisting with process improvements and implementation.


What you will have:
  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruitment experience, utilizing multiple sourcing channels.
  • Strong business acumen with a consultative approach, able to challenge the status quo to drive informed hiring decisions.
  • Customer-focus, adaptable, with excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Innovative mindset, suggesting ideas to improve talent sourcing strategies.
  • Results-oriented with strong collaboration skills, working with stakeholders, HR, and hiring managers.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs and priorities, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Exceptional time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Natural curiosity and an innovative approach to testing new ideas and creating recruitment efficiencies in recruitment process.
  • Ability to develop, track, and communicate recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and adapt strategies in response to changing market conditions and business requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel locally as needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working within an ATS, maintaining high levels of data integrity.
  • Previous experience within an HR function is an asset.
