Job Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Strategy Development & Communication
- Support the development of the Oldcastle Infrastructure's (OI) strategy at enterprise level and divisional level collaborating closely with senior leaders to define strategic priorities and identify growth opportunities
- Leading aspects of the annual planning cycle (Annual Playbook Process, Strategic Roadmaps, CRH Business Strategic Reviews)
- Regularly interface with OI leadership up through the President, acting as a thought partner with input on strategy
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights and updates on the company's strategic performance
Business Partnership & Research
- Lead in-depth macro and market research and analysis on emerging trends, the competitive landscape, industry best practices, critically delivering actionable insights
- Actively monitoring and analyzing competitor earnings releases / strategic initiatives
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leaders on key business decisions
Initiative Execution
- Coordinate and lead strategic initiatives and action plans to drive business performance and achieve company objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives and pilot programs
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying potential risks and recommending adjustments as needed
Network Development
- Build rapport and partnership with key leaders internally (operating company leaders and functional leaders) and externally (consultants and other advisors) to execute on Oldcastle Infrastructure's growth plans
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA or equivalent a plus)
- ~8 years of experience years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and information into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment / willing to handle several complex tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Team player, capable to effectively operate and communicate in an international, multicultural and diverse environment
- Highly motivated with positive, "can-do" attitude
