Position Overview
CRH are really pleased to advertise the need for a Procurement, Sustainability and Leviat Supply Chain Internship. The role comes with the possibility of completing a thesis, but this can be discussed during the interview process. This amazing opportunity will mean you have a chance to work with industry and area specific professionals on current and upcoming projects within CRH's Procurement, Sustainability and Leviat Supply Chain departments. These projects will challenge you and allow you to build up your experience and network. Furthermore, this internship is a great opportunity to have extensive development of hard, but also soft skills, such as stakeholder management, negotiation, and effective communication. Post internship, there is potential of continuing your work within CRH.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
During the internship, depending on your preference, education, and your experience, you will have a choice to work within one of the following teams based in Procurement, Sustainability and Leviat Supply Chain:
• E-Sourcing and Digital Negotiation
• Master Data - Spend Data
• Global Direct Sourcing
• Sustainability, Innovation & Risk management
• Sustainability
• Leviat Supply Chain
Your preference(s) is to be indicated within the motivation letter uploaded when applying. More information about each of the internship paths can be provided prior to the screening.
Key Functional Competencies
• Advanced Excel skills (preferable)
• Open minded and curious
• Proactive
• Analytical thinker
• Team player
• Deep passion for Procurement and/or Sustainability and/or Supply Chain
• Available for minimum 6 months
Experience / Education
• Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant area of expertise
• Working experience is a plus
• Fluent in English (B2 or higher, required)
• Other languages are considered a plus
• Advanced Excel skills (preferable)
