Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the review and process of customer requests for credit.
- Engages in collection activities with customers through constant communication via telephone, email, fax or written correspondence.
- Generates collections aging reports to analyze and determine which accounts to pursue collection activities.
- Prepares accurate credit related reports for management.
- Conducts analysis of customer financial information and credit history to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
- Performs industry research by utilizing various third-party credit reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate/ bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
- Experience with Credit related platforms such as Get Paid and SAP
- Association of Credit and Collections Professionals Training/ Courses Preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Credit analysis
- Advance computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; must be extremely tactful to effectively handle sensitive credit/collection issues.
- Ability to develop interactive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze business conditions and to develop new strategies in a dynamic business environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and high stress customer situations
