The Impact of a Partner Management Operations/Finance Manager to Coupa:

As the Partner Management Operations/Finance Manager at Coupa, you will be working to build and operationalise a global team supporting all Partner / Alliances related financial and reporting needs. These activities will include, but are not limited to; operationalizing Coupa's reseller model, monthly/quarterly gain-share reporting for Coupa Pay partners, and financial support for a handful of existing rebate agreements and other partner selling motions.

In addition, you will play a crucial role in setting the expectations for this newly formed global team. The activities will include, communication/launch to senior leadership, hiring to support the new organisation's responsibilities, and formalized documentation of all existing activities. Working with your supporting manager to create a 90-day, 180-day, and full-year plan for the partner finance team.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong passion for maintaining accurate and aligned processes. You will have experience building new processes from scratch, including experience hiring a global/remote team. The ability to collaborate with leadership at all levels, including individual contributors. Have no problem rolling up your sleeves to understand a problem, and align on a solution.

How You Will Impact Coupa Every Day:

    • Build and support a global team that will drive the day-to-day operations of the newly consolidated organisation
    • Develop business partnerships with key stakeholders in supported organisations such as, FP&A, Accounting, and Revenue,
    • Strong partnership with partner/alliance leaders to ensure overall operational alignment and a clear understanding of future direction and strategic vision
    • Oversight of partner finance-related monthly activities, such as; virtual card expense reconciliations, Coupa advantage supplier invoice management, and other expense/invoice-related reporting requirements
    • Support the transition of all partner-related finance, reporting, and tracking requirements from the current alliance team owners
    • Own all net new agreements through either acquisition or internal program expansion, supporting new supplier onboarding and respective reporting updates
    • Support "ad-hoc" operations-related projects as deemed necessary by supporting Director/Operations team
    • Support all other internal organizations currently managing partner processes including but not limited to; Travel, Treasury Management, Coupa Pay, Coupa Link, Coupa Advantage and Revenue
    • Curate process documentation for all expense/income-related partner programs, ensuring business continuity and up-to-date work instructions
    • Active review of all open expense Purchase Orders to ensure proper funding, working with business owners to action additional fund requests and renewals
    • Understanding of all current partner billing and rebate agreements ensuring an aligned and documented process for reporting and payments

What you will bring to Coupa:

    • Experience in business operations or financial analysis
    • Experiencing building and managing a global team
    • Ability to think outside the box, with a keen focus on operational efficiency.
    • Experience with standard software tools (Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, etc.). Emphasis on Microsoft Excel
    • Project management experience in Business Operations is a plus.
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, working knowledge of SQL and Python
    • Ability to communicate effectively between all levels within the organisation.
    • Hands-on: willingness to roll up your sleeves on all projects regardless of scope.
    • Able to effectively build and lead a globally diverse team of analysts
    • Strong communication skills and experience giving executive-level presentations/business updates
