Position: Team Lead- Finance
Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Team Lead -Finance. The position will be part of Global Shared Services team in Pune. Team Lead-Finance will primarily be responsible to month end closing activity, Balance sheet reconciliations, Intercompany accounting, Fixed Assets accounting and supporting internal and external audit as per company policies.
In this role you will...
- Serve as key contributor to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and posting journal entries and analysis in specific areas which may include major areas of balance sheet.
- Pass journal entries for monthly basis for timely book close related to accruals and provisions
- Fixed Assets - Ensure timely Capitalization/Addition/disposal of assets, depreciation of assets, FA reposting & reconciliations.
- Prepare/review month-end reconciliations including but not limited to, accrued expenses, prepaid, and fixed assets
- Review journal entries and month-end reconciliations prepared by the team
- Lead end to end accounting work, including FA, Prepaid accounting, IC and Closing and Reporting.
- Assist with the global consolidation of the company's subsidiaries and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Prepare monthly flux analysis of balance sheet and income statement expense accounts
- Communicate with department leads to identify potential accruals
- Document and improve current accounting processes and policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, streamline workflows and controls, and continually identify opportunities for automation
- Respond to both internal and external audit queries to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests

You Have What It Takes If You Have...
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, C.A. /CMA/CPA
- Should have 8-10 years of experience in Record to Report/GL
- Experience in collaborating with remote colleagues and employees globally
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ready to work in EMEA Shifts
