Summary:
The Special Events Coordinator ("Coordinator") plans, manages and executes celebrity visits, events, and special projects that cater to donor or patient audiences at Cook Children's Medical Center. The Coordinator identifies celebrities that align with Cook Children's brand, culture platform and the target demographics for patients or donors, recognizing there will be unique interests between both. The Coordinator creates and nurtures mutually beneficial partnerships with celebrities to secure donor dollars and improve patient experiences.

The Coordinator is the primary liaison between celebrity teams, current and potential donors, and the hospital, ensuring a smooth and impactful experience for all involved. The Coordinator interacts and partners with internal teams, and external vendors, and performers and entertainment industry representatives to develop strategic partnerships, increase hospital visibility, and continue to secure donations.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field required
- Previous experience successfully planning, coordinating and executing events involving high profile guests
- Experience developing programs within a healthcare setting while maintaining compliance with patient confidentiality
