Summary:
Assumes the primary therapeutic role for patients with autism, which includes activities of daily living, implements skill acquisition programs, maintains a safe and therapeutic environment, and the management of problem behavior. The Program Specialist II also generates patients' progress notes/graphs, as well as the weekly therapy objectives (e.g., Weekly Program Data Sheet).
Qualifications:
- • nly people who have worked in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Department at Child Study Center will be considered for this PS II position
- May give consideration for those with great experience in ABA therapy or with behavior analysis coursework
- Bachelor's degree is required, but may substitute 1 year of experience with ABA therapy for each year of college
- CSC- Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days of start date
