Mortgage Loan Closer
The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Mortgage Loan Closer. As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will be responsible for facilitating an exceptional member experience and a timely mortgage loan credit decision and loan closing. The Mortgage Loan Closer is the vital link between the member, loan officer, realtor and title company to coordinate loan approval, closing and post-closing functions.

What you will do:
- Meet monthly goals
- Facilitate up to 50 mortgage applications simultaneously
- Review, verify and update files for completeness
- Coordinate and schedule all mortgage loan closings and obtain all payoffs and required documentation
to complete the file - Ability to effectively communicate with title company to reconcile escrows, pro-rations, fees and timing
of initial and final closing disclosure - Prepare final closing disclosure in all cases and initial closing disclosure when necessary
- Fund all mortgage closings including sending wires to title company
- Assemble post-closing documents for underwriting review and submission to booking
- Communicate with loan officers regarding compilation and verification of final closing numbers to
ensure accuracy - Complete preliminary post-closing review prior to sending file to mortgage loan servicing area
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and credit union guidelines
- Assist in any area as directed by supervisor
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Minimum of one year consumer lending experience including knowledge of Phoenix System preferred
- Working knowledge of mortgage lending
- Exceptional member service skills
- Exceptional communication skills, especially by telephone
- Strong computer skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Self-Starter
