As a Closely Held Business Advisor within PNC Private Bank, you are able to be located in any geographical location within the PNC footprint. You will be primarily based in a home office location with a minimum in-office requirement in a PNC location of one time per month and additionally as needed to fulfill job functions. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, regular business hours or additional time as required.

Preferred Skills/Experience :

• Desire to be a part of a highly collaborative team.
• Attention to detail with the ability to drive the "process" (on-boarding,
sale/purchase, distribution, etc.)
• Strong analytical, financial statement analysis and/or investment analysis
skills.
• Experience with wealth management account administration and/or
investment management.
• Understanding of trust governing documents, and closely held business
operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements,
and other corporate documents.
• Interest in or understanding of closely held businesses and private equity
structures. Other alternative asset experience a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance helpful.

Job Duties may Include:

• Conducts initial and ongoing due diligence relating to closely held
businesses and private alternative funds (non-publicly traded assets), held
in Wealth Management and Institutional accounts.
• Conducts Asset reviews and analysis and makes investment/fiduciary
recommendations.
• Reviews asset financial information, governing instruments, and related
business documents.
• Address corporate actions including shareholder vote/meetings and
responding to proxy requests.
• Address CHB Asset impacts related to routine account activities such as
closings/distributions/transfers which may involve re-registering the asset.

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Job Description
  • Monitors, coordinates, interprets and processes financial and non-financial information on a monthly basis relating to closely-held, defined as non-publicly traded, assets held within Investment Management and Trust accounts. Performs approval and onboarding of new closely-held assets as well as the disposition of those assets.
  • Conducts reviews of assigned closely-held business assets held within wealth accounts and makes investment/fiduciary recommendations related to the assets for presentation at the monthly committee meeting.
  • Works with various internal partners to help support the acquisition, accurate reporting and sale of assigned closely-held assets.
  • At acquisition, reviews financial information, governing instruments and related business documents to determine whether a closely-held asset can be accepted into a specific account.
  • Provides compliance-based reporting for assets that have been flagged as exceptions.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $45,000.00 - $106,600.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
