Position Summary

Cultivating a best-in-class, diverse workforce that reflects the consumers we serve and the communities where we operate is foundational to our business strategy and long-term success. Just as important, we are also focused on developing an inclusive culture that fully harnesses the benefits of a highly talented and diverse workforce and that allows all team members to thrive. The VP of Diversity & Inclusion will partner with senior executives across the business and our HR team to advance our Diversity and Inclusion strategy and drive impactful results both internally and externally in line with our company vision. This includes working with senior leaders across the business to develop and implement policies, processes, and programs to build on the momentum gained over the years and achieve our ultimate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders across the U.S., Mexico, Italy and New Zealand to constantly evolve and drive execution of the company's strategy for achieving Constellation's Diversity & Inclusion vision.
  • Work with business leaders to establish relevant ambitions and to establish a process for ongoing data collection for analysis of Diversity & Inclusion program assessment and accountability.
  • Work with business leaders to identify potential obstacles hindering the company's progress relative to Diversity & Inclusion objectives aligned with our business strategy, and develop and implement corrective actions to help close any potential gaps.
  • Benchmark Constellation's performance relative to industry best practices to ensure the company stays on the forefront of emerging Diversity & Inclusion trends and to drive optimum results in support of the company's business strategy.
  • Lead, nurture and develop a high-performing team that drives impactful results in line with business objectives.
  • In collaboration with HR/Talent Acquisition partners, develop and support recruiting and hiring strategies to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds aligned with company goals.
  • In partnership with Talent Development, create and/or acquire training and development programs to support Constellation's retention strategies for talent of all backgrounds.
  • Provide Diversity & Inclusion coaching / guidance to senior leaders across the business.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant diversity-related issues, legislation and best practices; keep leadership, communications, and global HR teams constantly informed.
  • Provide Diversity & Inclusion-related training and policy updates to colleagues as needed; help ensure legal compliance of management and HR teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of business experience with 10+ years experience leading Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and a proven track record of strategy development and driving results in line with business objectives.
  • Significant experience leveraging leadership and influencing skills and ability to inspire others. Experience leveraging those skills across a broad spectrum of employees .
  • Demonstrated competence in garnering support for a Diversity & Inclusion strategy with alignment across executives and employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into actionable strategies with an appropriate level of focus and prioritization.
  • High degree of business acumen and strategic orientation with ability to prioritize programs and resources accordingly.
  • Ability to develop productive relationships and work collaboratively with other leaders to drive strong execution of the company's Diversity & Inclusion strategies with a "roll up your sleeves" mindset.
  • Ability to leverage the broad resources of the company to support its Diversity & Inclusion programs.
  • Solid understanding of Diversity & Inclusion standard methodologies and employment laws and applicable strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field required; Master's Degree preferred

The salary range for this role is:
$210,900.00 - $351,500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
