Job Description
The Retail Connections Marketing Manager will work on the Corona portfolio. This position is responsible for the management, development, production, and timely implementation of all assigned retail thematic marketing programs for the Corona Brand Family including Corona Non-Alcoholic and Corona Sunbrew. The individual will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to align programming to brand and retail objectives. This individual will work closely with marketing and sales cross functional team to ensure Corona is positioned to win at retail and on-premise occasions.
Responsibilities
- Bring the Corona Brand Family to life by creating and implementing short- and long-term retail marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics to maximize sales, drive wholesaler execution and disrupt the consumer shopping experience.
- Responsible for creation, coordination and implementation of year-round programming and tools. Monitors and evaluates programming to ensure that objectives have been met. Develops recommendations to enhance or modify program effectiveness.
- Manages multiple agency partners overseeing agency scope, communication, planning, creative development, order window development and ad hoc or quick turn needs identified by sales or marketing teams.
- Manages print, fulfillment and merchandise vendors in the procurement, production and release of all promotional marketing programming materials and point-of-sale.
- Champion of Collaboration, fostering communication between cross-functional marketing teams. Act as a project manager for Corona's Retail Impact Moments with cross-functional partners.
- Applies strategy and input to drive meaningful integration and amplification of brand/sales priorities at retail.
- Engages CBBD network to evaluate the effectives of retail marketing programs via the analysis of sales impact, wholesaler execution, and profitability/return on investment of retail promotion marketing expenditures.
- Assists in the annual strategic planning process - helps align internal Marketing teams, Consumer/Shopper insights, and Sales in the delivery of planning guides, Marketing Playbooks and tools to the Constellation organization and wholesaler network for annual business planning and POS ordering processes.
- Budget Management including but not limited to monthly forecast, budget reconciliation and reporting.
- Identifies ideas and innovations on new programming tactics to ensure that Corona stays culturally competitive.
- Manager will have one direct report that is a Marketing Specialist. Manager is responsible for investing in their direct report and willing to develop, teach, and train them.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in marketing, is required.
- Minimum of five years' experience in corporate marketing function.
- Must demonstrate marketing experience in the concepting, implementation, and management of marketing programs and experience in translating sales goals to programming ROI.
- Must possess successful experience managing agencies in consistently achieving the company goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills are necessary. Individuals will interact and collaborate regularly with senior management, brand and insights teams, legal counsel, field sales personnel, wholesaler representatives, agencies, and suppliers. Must demonstrate an understanding of the needs of all stakeholders to ensure successful program sell-in and execution.
- Must take the initiative to learn and acquire new skills and abilities and improve upon existing systems and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail Promotions/ Trade Marketing / Shopper Marketing experience is preferred.
- Experience with Fast Moving Consumer Package Goods and / or the beverage alcohol industry.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage up and across different levels of the organization.
- Experience in translating sales goals to programming with high return on investment highly desirable
- Spanish language speaking is a positive, but not a mandatory
- Understand the three-tier beverage alcohol system.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Must be available to travel frequently for market visits and corporate events.
- Chicago-based candidates are preferred, but not mandatory. Chicago-based employees are required to work in-office on Tuesday and Wednesdays, subject to change. If candidate is not Chicago-based, they must be able to travel to CBI Headquarters in Chicago a minimum of six times per year, as-determined by the Retail Connections Director.
- Must be available for meetings between 9am CST-6pm CST.

The salary range for this role is:
$92,500.00 - $141,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
