General Summary

This individual will be responsible for managing a variety of Operations processes for Constellation Brands' (herein after referred to as the "Company") that includes, but not limited to, managing departmental and construction project budgets and schedules, overseeing work orders, and takes a proactive approach to reducing costs, maintaining and reporting space tracking and ensuring office standards compliance. Acts as lead for High West project tracking, onsite administrative activities, and purchase order/invoice reconciliation at the High West Distillery.

In addition, the Process Excellence Manager will work closely with the entire Operations Leadership team and internal stakeholders, such as Finance, Human Resources, IT and Legal, as well as external suppliers with the goal of successfully delivering improved processes, well developed sourcing strategies, and measurable cost savings.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aid High West Leadership team in preparing and reporting annual capital plans and general departmental budgets for Operations locations.
  • Have financial responsibility for creating and receiving purchase orders, day-to-day departmental and capital expenses, generating and reviewing SAP monthly budget reports for Director, Operations, and reconciling any issues and conducting periodic audits to provide financial insight based on plans.
  • Manage High West Operations related projects and schedules.
  • Acts as lead for overseeing administrative functions at the High West Operations locations.
  • Acts as the HW operations team lead, including communication, organization, and coordination of annual required team trainings
  • Will participate and implement a variety of company-wide and special projects for Operations leadership team.
  • Leverage integrated Operations technology for the benefit of internal clients; recommending process improvements where applicable.
  • Works with the Operations Management team to ensure that all necessary vendor contracts are in place for best-in-class. Includes contract review and/or preparation and negotiation, contract administration, adherence and compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Oversees and serves as lead for managing vendor relationships, i.e., deliveries, schedules and any payment issues.
  • Partner with Operations Manager on the competitive bid processes for Operations related sourcing activities including RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's to support strategic business objectives. Negotiation of various types of Vendor agreements. Work with internal and client stakeholders in establishing, managing, creating RFP's and analyzing related purchasing projects.

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports directly to the Director, Operations

Knowledge, Experience and Abilities Required

  • Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of five years related work experience is required
  • Must have a proven track record in project management
  • Must be able to demonstrate expertise in construction, space management and office moves/adds, and relocations. Experience with budget and purchase management preferable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent software) is required. Must be comfortable working with computers and be able to learn new software, including Company leasing and financial platforms.
  • Must have a strong team and service orientation and be able to work well with all levels of internal personnel and external business associates. Must be able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle constantly changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.
  • Must have excellent quantitative analytical skills with the ability to translate those skills into high-level analysis and planning. Must be able to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.
  • Must exhibit a high energy level and superior work ethic and show a willingness to commit whatever time and effort is needed to produce high quality work.
  • A successful candidate must exhibit strategic agility, analytic skills and add significant value to the team and organization by enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Operations team.

The salary range for this role is:
$71,600.00 - $107,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
