We are expanding our team with a new headcount and are currently looking to recruit a Customer Operations Officer. Customer Operations Securities Transfer Team is one of the Operations Team within Hong Kong region, responsible for providing back end support for processing shareholders' transfer requests and updating the company's records in the system to reflect the new ownership.
The Customer Operations Officermust deliver all the daily jobs within agreed timeline and service/quality standards, e.g. according to our operation procedures.

This role is also expected to work collaboratively across various teams within Operations to ensure a smooth operation of securities transaction.
A role you will love
The Customer Operations Officer will work closely with all Operation teams and Investor Services Team, Client Facing Teams and also IPO team to ensure all shareholders' transfer requests will be carried out timely and accurately. All tasks should be delivered under our operation procedures. The tasks should be closely monitored so that all changes can be timely reflected.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure all good Corporate Transfer cases completed within agreed timeline
• Retrieve supporting documents from the system
• Follow up on transfer related problem cases
• Prepare transfer related communication
• Review transfer documents to ensure they comply with requirements
• Handle enquiries from brokers on Corporate Transfer documentation requirements
• Handle express transfer service requests
• Discuss and co-ordinate daily tasks with different teams (Operations, Investor Services, Client Facing, Legal and Compliance, etc.)
• Adapt to changing internal business requirements/expectations
• Highly adaptable to changing market changes
• Provide timely support for any ad-hoc/special requirements eg. Attending AGMs
• Work independently and under high pressure
What will you bring to the role?
You will be a holder of either an Associate or Degree in any disciplines. You will bring at least one year of experience from the banking or financial services industry - should you come from a different industry you are also welcome to apply.
The Officer role requires attention to detail and some evaluative judgement based on best practices and previous experience. You will be expected to respond to and have the ability to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions. You would need excellent communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and written communications in response to queries from other departments.
The Customer Operations Officer will not directly manage others, but need to provide guidance to junior team members of the team. If necessary, the role is required to support some projects, attending internal meetings with overseas regions, conducting UATs, etc.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-minded
- Proactive, work independently under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
