Location: Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong

You will be joining the Operations Corporate Actions team where you will be holding an essential role supporting various Corporate Action events, such as IPO and dividend payments to name a few.

We are recruiting a fresh graduate to join us as an Officer to join the Corporate Actions, Operations team. This role will be based in our Megabox offices, in Hong Kong.

As an Officer, we will provide you with the tools and guidance for you to be successful in your role and to carve out a strong foundation in your career with Computershare.

A role you will love

The Officer will be working closely with multiple departments including Transaction Services, various Client Facing teams, and the IPO team to ensure all corporate actions will be delivered on time and accurately. All required tasks should adhere to our operational procedures and should be closely monitored to ensure changes are reflected accordingly.

Your role is essential in the Operations team as this will impact the delivery and quality of our service standards to our clients.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare files and reports to listed clients, banks, vendors and other third parties relating to jobs including IPOs, shareholdings' meetings, various kinds of corporate actions and requests from listed clients
  • Prepare analysis reports and shareholder lists for listed clients
  • Discuss and co-ordinate daily tasks with different teams in Operations
  • Ensure all corporate events can be delivered up to standard and within agreed timeline
  • Make sure all shareholder data maintained accurately in the system under standard internal audit process
  • Adapt to changing internal business requirements/expectations
  • Highly adaptable to changing financial market changes
  • Provide timely support to all clients for any ad-hoc/special requirements

What will you bring to the role?

You will be a degree holder in Finance or other related disciplines. You will have excellent PC skills including MS Excel and word. Excellent written and speaking language skills in both English and Cantonese will be required.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively relay messages clearly with the most appropriate and efficient way.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills are required in the role whilst having the ability to think outside of the box and provide sound solutions
  • No travelling is required in the role and will be based in our Megabox offices
