A Day in the Life:
JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Responsibility Officer oversees the vendor onboarding process to ensure the accurate and timely completion of vendor onboarding documentation and data collection for the Company's supplier base, as well as tracking status of onboarding documentation and audits. This entails both external communications with suppliers and internal collaboration cross-functionally across social compliance, sustainability, legal, product development, and quality assurance teams.
In addition, the Officer will be responsible for directly supporting the Social Compliance team by providing administrative and operational support, including managing and maintaining social compliance data across multiple platforms, audit scheduling, and supporting reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBLILITY
- Execute smooth onboarding process for vendors of all tiers
- Support Legal Department with respect to legal documentation that is part of vendor onboarding, including managing negotiations through the relevant stakeholders, if needed
- Manage all vendor onboarding and social compliance data for vendors, and coordinate with sourcing teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of vendors' profiles and audit data, across multiple systems and platforms
- Coordinate with external parties for audit preparation and scheduling
- Regular reporting of onboarding and social compliance data to management in dashboard format
- Conduct SOP training to sourcing teams on onboarding process and updated requirements associated with systems
- Work with sourcing strategy and technology teams in enhancing and updating the function tools
- Support on traceability projects through supplier mapping and document collection
- Provide administrative support to team and collaborate on any ad hoc projects
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Bachelor degree holder or equivalent in Social Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline or experience in the relevant field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in social compliance team setting
- Experience with vendor management within supply chain
- Experience with project management in cross-functional environment is a plus
- Experience with vendor management and product platforms - preferably including PLM and EIQ.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent dashboard skills, presentation, written and verbal communication skills are required
- Experience with data collection, reporting and analytic thinking
- Good written and verbal English, and Chinese, other languages are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
